Pune Traffic Police have announced a temporary traffic diversion at Kalyani Nagar Junction under the jurisdiction of the Yerawada Traffic Division to address rising congestion and ensure safer traffic movement. Amol Zende, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Pune, has issued a formal notification exercising his authority under the Motor Vehicles Act, implementing changes that will alter traffic flow at Sahyadri Lane, Loop Road, and Gunjan Chowk Junction.

Traffic Diversion Plan

  • No Right Turn Towards Kalyani Nagar

Vehicles coming from Sahyadri Lane, Loop Road, and Gunjan Chowk Junction will not be permitted to take a right turn towards Kalyani Nagar.

  • Alternative Route

Vehicles intending to reach Kalyani Nagar from these roads must continue straight towards Ramwadi for 300 meters.

Upon reaching Aga Khan Palace's puncture shop, they can take a U-turn and proceed left towards Kalyani Nagar.

Citizens who wish to provide feedback or objections regarding these changes can submit their written suggestions to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Airport Road, Pune between February 27, 2025, and March 13, 2025.
