Indigo Compensation Voucher: IndiGo has introduced its 'Gesture of Care' (GoC) package to assist passengers affected by flight delays and cancellations in December 2025. This scheme comes after major disruptions between December 3 and 5, 2025, which resulted in numerous flight delays and cancellations, leaving thousands of travelers stranded for hours.
In unveiling the initiative, the airline emphasized that prioritizing passenger care is its foremost concern. The GoC package aims to alleviate the difficulties encountered by passengers whose travel itineraries were significantly disrupted.
The 'Gesture of Care' (GoC) package offers compensation to passengers impacted by flight disruptions between December 3-5, 2025, including vouchers for children and infants, provided to their parents or guardians.
Period: Noon on December 3 to December 5, 2025
Eligibility: Flights delayed by more than three hours or cancelled within four hours of departure
Children and Infants: Vouchers provided to parents or guardians for eligible passengers.
Passengers eligible for the 'Gesture of Care' package will receive travel vouchers worth Rs 10,000, split into two Rs 5,000 vouchers. Each passenger gets their own set, so a family of three traveling together would receive three separate sets of vouchers.
Step 1: Eligible passengers will receive an email with a secure link to access their vouchers.
Step 2: Click the link to view and claim the vouchers.
Step 3: If the passenger's email is not registered, they must first complete the registration process.
Step 4: Once registered, vouchers will be sent within 24 hours.
The vouchers are intended for one-time use, cannot be transferred, and are associated with the passenger's name. They remain valid for a year from the issuance date and can be utilized to reserve flights at any time within this timeframe, even for trips scheduled after the expiration. Additionally, passengers can use them to purchase additional services such as pre-ordered meals, seat selection, and extra baggage, provided the bookings are made via the airline's website.
