

Pune, 20th May 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has carried out a major reshuffle in its engineering department by transferring six senior officials across important civic wings.
The transfer orders were issued on Tuesday by PMC Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram to bring more efficiency and better coordination in administrative functioning.
As part of the changes, Chief Engineer Jagdish Khanore, who was earlier handling the drainage maintenance and repair department, has now been appointed to the Param Project.
Superintending Engineer Vishal Haribhakt has been shifted from the drainage maintenance and repair department to the Building Design Department. Meanwhile, Superintending Engineer Ashit Jadhav has been relieved from the road department and given charge of the water supply department.
Among the executive engineers, Bipin Shinde has been removed from the additional charge of the Building Design Department and assigned responsibility for the construction department. Rohidas Gawhane, who was working in the drainage maintenance and repair wing, has now been transferred to the road department.
Executive Engineer Dineshkumar Girolla, who has been serving in the vigilance department for several years, has been given additional responsibility as head of the drainage maintenance and repair department while continuing his vigilance role.
According to PMC officials, the transfers are part of an effort to strengthen civic administration and improve the functioning of key infrastructure departments in the city.
