Pune, 17th September 2026: Pune and Beed will soon be connected by a direct daily train service, ending the long wait for a direct rail link between the two cities. The new service is expected to make travel easier for students, employees, traders and other passengers travelling between Pune and the Marathwada region.

The service will be inaugurated at Beed railway station on Thursday, September 17, at around 11:30 am by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar. Senior officials from the Pune railway division will also be present at the inauguration ceremony.

According to the timetable released by the Railway Board, Train No. 11433 will leave Pune at 10:45 pm and reach Beed at 6 am the next morning. The return service, Train No. 11434, will depart from Beed at 9:30 pm and reach Pune at 5:20 am.

The 16-coach train will have a carrying capacity of around 2,000 passengers. It will stop at Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Shrigonda Road, Ahilyanagar, Narayandoho, New Ashti and Amalner during its journey.

The Railway Board has not yet announced the date for the regular operation of the service. Once operational, the daily train is expected to provide a convenient direct travel option between Pune and Beed and improve rail connectivity for passengers travelling to and from the region.
