Pune, 7th September 2026: With a large number of passengers expected to travel to the Konkan region for Ganeshotsav, special trains will operate between Pune and Ratnagiri from September 12 to 26. The services have been planned under the 'Train on Demand' initiative to provide additional travel options and reduce overcrowding on regular trains.
Pune–Ratnagiri special train 01447 will operate on September 12, 19 and 26. It will depart from Pune at 12:25 am and reach Ratnagiri at 11:50 am the same day. The return train, 01448, will leave Ratnagiri at 5:50 pm and arrive in Pune at 5:20 am the following day.
Another Pune–Ratnagiri special service, 01445, will run on September 15 and 22. It will also leave Pune at 12:25 am and reach Ratnagiri at 11:50 am. Its return service, 01446, will depart Ratnagiri at 5:50 pm and reach Pune at 5:20 am the next day.

Kalyan
Panvel
Pen
Roha
Mangaon
Veer
Karanjadi
Khed
Chiplun
Savarda
Aravali Road
Sangameshwar Road
Reservations for these special trains have started and will be available at computerized PRS ticket centres and through the IRCTC website. The services will offer additional capacity for passengers travelling to the Konkan region during the Ganeshotsav period and are expected to ease the load on regular trains.
