Pune, 14 February 2026: Veteran NCP leader Sharad Pawar is set to be discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic today after showing significant improvement in his health.
Pawar was admitted to the hospital on February 9 after experiencing persistent coughing and phlegm, which led to breathing discomfort. Following medical evaluation and treatment, his condition steadily improved.
Dr. Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic, said that Pawar is in good health and has recovered well. “Mr. Pawar is doing well and has responded positively to the treatment. He will be discharged today,” he said.
The medical team has advised him to take adequate rest for a few days. Doctors added that he can gradually resume his routine work and public engagements after proper recovery.
Sharad Pawar expected to return to his schedule once doctors give the final clearance following his rest period.
