Pune, 24 October 2025:In a shocking incident at their home, a 28-year-old woman has been charged with strangling her husband to death early on Friday morning. The Chinchwad police have taken the suspect, Chaitali Bhoyar, into custody.
The deceased, 40-year-old Nakul Bhoyar, reportedly had ongoing suspicions about his wife’s character, which led to repeated arguments between the couple.
According to police, the argument escalated around 2:45 am, during which Chaitali allegedly strangled Nakul with a cloth. Their two children, aged two and five, were asleep in a different room when the incident occurred.
The couple ran a saree business together. Police officials stated that the constant disputes and mistrust between the husband and wife culminated in this tragic act. Chinchwad police are conducting further investigations into the case.
Police Inspector Gosavi confirmed that the accused is in custody and that the investigation is ongoing.
