There are movies that make you laugh till your stomach hurts and there are some that make you cry like a baby. And then, there are movies that will make you happy and inspire you to take a trip either with your loved ones or solo. 

If the film is about travelling to beautiful locations — then that's just the kind of push you need to take a trip somewhere you have been dreaming of for months!

Queen (2013)
This movie has inspired a lot of girls to go on a solo trip to Europe. In this movie, Kangana, who plays the protagonist, Rani, finds her own identity while on a trip to Europe. After her wedding gets cancelled at the last moment, Rani decides to set out on her honeymoon alone. She gains confidence which she had earlier lost due to unexpected incidents in her life. Her solo endeavour instills a sense of freedom in her.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
People who have seen this film have related to either one of the three lead characters depicted in the film. The guys, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Hritik Roshan are celebrating a bacherlors-only vacation, road tripping in Spain before Abhay Deol's big day. The three explore adventure sports like scuba diving, sky diving and bull race. The stunning visuals will make you book a ticket to Spain right away.

Jia Aur Jia (2017)
This yet to be released film starring Richa Chadha and Kalki Koechlin is about two girls on a road trip. Their same name creates confusion and changes their life. The movie is yet to be released... fingers crossed.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013)
This film about friends bonding and trekking the Himalayas will get you itching to put on your trekking shoes and go to the hills with your friends immediately. The film explores the fun side of traveling and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapoor.

Tamasha (2015)
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone take us through the beautiful Corsica as they meet and eventually fall in love. This film is the perfect getaway for someone who is looking for a nice holiday and experience some local flavours.
