Gayathiri Iyer to make Bollywood debut with ‘Raid’

South siren Gayathiri Iyer is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid. The actress will play the character of an income tax officer along with Ajay Devgn in the film releasing today.

Known for being part of films like Namo Boothatma, Ouija, Jaggu Dada, she is happy to debut with a non-glam and realistic role. Speaking about her debut, she says, “I am excited to debut with Rajkumar as a director. Especially since he gave landmark roles to Vidya Balan, a south origin actress herself.”

Gayathiri, who is from Kerala, has played the lead in three films in the Kannada film industry and awaits the release of her Telugu debut film.
