Inspector Saralkar ‘caught in web’

Sakal Times

Pune author Salil Desai’s best-selling Inspector Saralkar mystery series has been picked up by a studio to be adapted into a web series. The titles in the series include Killing Ashish Karve, The Murder of Sonia Raikkonen and 3 and a Half Murders.

The author is ecstatic and says, “I am thrilled to bits that the makers saw such onscreen potential in my plots and characters. It’s a big break for me and I am super-excited my stories are now going to reach a huge audience.”

Shikha Sabharwal, Publishing Director, Fingerprint! Publishing is jubilant too. “This is a first for us — word to screen. Salil has created a cracker of a mystery series.”  Meanwhile, Salil is already busy penning the next Inspector Saralkar mystery.
