The actor, well-known for his past acting stints — from Masoom (1996) to Pyaar Ka Punchnama, is all set to make his television debut on Sony Entertainment Television’s Dil Hi Toh Hai - ‘A Love Saga’. The show will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and Omkar will be seen playing the lead character of Ritwik Noon in the show. 

Says Omkar, “Getting a chance to be a part of television industry through Sony and Ekta ma’am makes me feel blessed and encourages me to showcase some good work to the audience”.

Talking more on making his debut with Dil Hi Toh Hai, he says, “Yes, I am making my TV debut with Ekta Kapoor’s show Dil Hi Toh Hai which will be one of the biggest love sagas. I will be playing the lead character in the show.  Ritwik Noon is an ambitious and go getter person when it comes to work but on the other hand, he is a charmer, who is every girl’s dream and her worst nightmare. My journey from Chhota Bachha Jaan ke to romancing on screen has been wonderful and I want to make a mark on the television screen as it has a wide audience reach. Looking forward to showcasing some good work for the audience.”
