The actor, who started his career as a child actor and later starred in Pyaar Ka Punchnama part 2, is set to make his debut on the web. Omkar Kapoor will surprise his audience by attempting a character contrary to his onscreen image.

Omkar is quietly preparing to play a character based on a real life informer in his upcoming web series. According to a source close to the actor, he plays the character of Ahmad, an informer working for the elite Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) who provides vital information on the mastermind of the Ahmadabad bomb blasts in 2008.

“The actor who is attempting such a unique role for the first time is quite excited to portray it to the best of his abilities. Accordingly, Omkar has started prepping up for the challenging role thereby learning the lingo and basic nuances of his character,” adds the source.
