Sarwar Ahuja gets trained by real auto rickshaw drivers

Sakal Times

The multi-talented actor is all set to entertain the audience in the character of an autorickshaw driver in Discovery JEET’s launch show Mere Papa Hiro Hiralal. He is seeking special training from two local auto rickshaw drivers.

“The actor spends ample time with them to understand and adapt their mannerisms. He is also taking diction classes from the drivers to learn their style of speaking and language,” says a source close to the show.

Sarwar, who will be seen essaying the role of Hiralal Tiwari said, “I am thrilled to be a part of Mere Papa Hero Hiralal. The show comes with an unconventional storyline which is the reason why I couldn’t say no to it. I am quite excited to essay the character. To do complete justice to it, I am spending time with real autorickshaw drivers. I am trying to understand and adapt their gestures and body language. I also work on my language and take a note of the phrases the drivers use in their day to day life. I am sure the viewers will be able to connect with the show and its characters.”

The show and the channel will be launched on February 12.
