There is a superlative variety of talent who test their singing skills on this platform with such panache that audiences can see the diversity present in India on the show.”

On her association with the show, Neha Kakkar said, “I’m thrilled and excited to be associated with the one of the best platforms on television in India for singing talent. My singing career began with me being a contestant on this very show and now, I’m going to be judging it. Life has truly come a full circle. I instantly took the offer to judge Indian Idol because I know the journey from being judged to judging on the same stage is going to be a memorable experience for me. I still remember the excitement on being shortlisted and selected in Top 10 and I will give the full credit to Indian Idol platform for grooming me as a singer and shaping my career. This year, the campaign centres around the thought, Khabar Phaila Do for the audition, I will urge and request everyone to share the news that Indian Idol is back and ensure we get the best participation at the auditions that start in Jaipur on May 1.”
