Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam’s starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike, which is one of the current years highest grossing Hindi film, is all set to release in Telugu. This would be the first time both Vicky’s and Yami’s any Hindi movie is being dubbed for Telugu release. “The subject of the film is very appealing and inspiring to every Indians,” says a source.

Yami, who is a popular face down south, is elated with the fact Uri... is getting released in Telugu.  “I am very happy and glad my film Uri... is getting released in Telugu, its been a while since I haven’t worked in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu projects. I am very happy and it’s always good when a good film reaches wider audiences. Telugu and Kannada audiences back there always have acknowledged good cinema. Good films like Uri... will do well everywhere. For me there is a special connect all the more because I started off my career with films down there, so I am very happy to be back with a good film,” said Yami in a statement.
