A Miss Grand Thailand contestant received loud applause from the audience for the way she handled an on-stage mishap, after her dental veneers fell out in the middle of her speech during the preliminary round.
Kamolwan Chanago was in the middle of her introduction when the incident momentarily interrupted her time on stage, occurring in full view of the judges and a live audience, according to The Sun.
Chanago, however, stayed calm and did not lose her composure. She briefly turned away, swiftly adjusted her veneers, and then faced the audience once more. Her poised and confident reaction quickly won over the crowd, who erupted in cheers as she carried on.
Regaining her composure, she carried on across the stage, modeling her evening gown and beaming at the cameras as though nothing had occurred. A clip of the incident quickly went viral on social media, with viewers praising her composure and professionalism in a tense situation.
The event took place in the early round of the competition.
The contestant who will be crowned on Saturday will go on to represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant in India.
