Sushant Singh Rajput's friend Rohini Iyer: 'You didn't shun him, he rejected your lobbies'

Social media has been flooded with heartfelt RIP posts and emotional messages, after the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14. Rajput's death was caused by suicide and no note was left behind. Several speculations have been made regarding the reason behind his suicide. People have blamed the fairly visible nepotism which runs in Bollywood for pushing him towards such a drastic step. Rohini Iyer, Rajput's celebrity manager and one of his closest friends, took to Instagram to end all these speculations.

Iyer uploaded a series of heart melting photographs of herself and Rajput. She wrote in her first post, "You promised you would be with me forever. And I promised I would keep smiling no matter what. It seems we were both wrong, my son."

She also wrote in a post which followed, "Every single person who wants their two bit fame has an opinion on his life." Rajput never really cared about fame or other's opinion. "He didn't care about these people who are busy posting about not being in touch with him. For the record, he didn't care about being in touch. He hated fake friends, phone calls and small talks. He rejected your parties, you didn't shun him. He rejected your lobbies. He didn't need camps, he had his own kingdom. He was a fighter. He made his own place in the sun," she added.

She mentioned that she was stunned to discover 'fiction' being prompted by different people in order to further their own narratives and agendas. She further wrote how the actor never bothered himself not being an 'insider' or never cared about being a part of the 100 crore club. She described the actor as 'force of nature,' 'as simple as quantum physics,' 'a crazy genius,' etc. She mentioned how the actor read Sartre and Nietzsche, wrote poetry, played guitar, studied astronomy and stoicism, wrote with both hands, and much more. One had to be a lot more interesting than a trophy in order to grab his attention.

She ended her post by saying, "please don't try to make sense of him or reduce his talent to serve your mere agenda."
