Sushant Singh Rajput's Instagram account is now ‘memorialised’

'Photon in a doubt-slit' reads Sushant Singh Rajput's Instagram bio, the 34-year old Bollywood actor passed away last Sunday and Instagram added his account to memorialised accounts, where one can see 'Remembering' above his name.

The actor who made it to Bollywood on his own, right from acting in an Indian soap opera Pavitra Rishta to his last film Chhichhore, the struggle has been real.  His Bollywood debut film Kai Po Che! (2003) was highly appreciated in the cinema world. The brilliant actor reportedly committed suicide at his Bandra, Mumbai residence.

According to media reports, Sushant Singh Rajput was going through depression and struggling with the Bollywood industry. After his sudden demise, several friends and co-actors took to social media sites like Twitter and Instagram to reveal the misery he was going through in the past and raising their voices against Bollywood nepotism.

Of course, Sushant's untimely death has deeply saddened a large part of the population of this country, including fans, friends, family and the cinema industry. Since Instagram recently launched its new feature 'memorialised accounts', Sushant Singh Rajput's account has been added to the list as well. While his fans pour out their hearts in his latest post, his co-stars including Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor among others, shared pictures of the actor and wrote some heartfelt notes.

Sushant Singh's account has been witnessing a hike in followers since the news of his death.

Instagram officials claim, this new memorial feature is a way to "remember someone's life after they've passed away." This feature allows people to view his account, once the account is memorialised, the account can't be accessed by anyone.

The Bollywood actor's suicide has raised the importance of we-being. Several talks have been going around about mental health and the need to 'talk' to someone. Instagram, Twitter and Facebook have seen a surge in posts related to mental health, its importance, and people extending support to anyone and everyone.

Sushant Singh's demise has left a void in everybody's heart, it's almost unbelievable. But with his death, everyone is trying to understand the need to be happy, the need to talk to someone when you are low, the need to share your misery and the need to keep your mind healthy as well.
