Pune: A property dispute among siblings has escalated to allegations of death threats and abuse, involving two members of the police force.

A police constable reportedly threatened to shoot his sister, a police inspector, during a confrontation over ancestral property. Both families have filed complaints against each other with the Kalewadi Police Station.

According to the complaint filed by the police inspector, the incident occurred last Saturday around 1:45 PM at her residence. Her brother, a police constable, arrived with his wife and daughter.

An argument ensued, during which the brother allegedly verbally abused their mother and the police inspector sister. The sister reported that the constable threatened her, saying, "I will shoot her, whatever the consequences."

His wife and daughter also joined in the verbal abuse. Later, the constable allegedly threatened his own family, stating, "If you don’t assault my sister and mother, I will hang myself and commit suicide."

In a counter-complaint, the constable's daughter alleged that the police inspector verbally abused her family. She further accused another sister's son of molesting her.

Speaking to mediapersons, Senior Inspector Rajendra Bahirat of Kalewadi Police Station confirmed the complaints and stated that investigations are ongoing to uncover the facts behind these serious allegations.
