Rubina Dilaik spoke bluntly as she recounted Asim Riaz’s conduct on the set of Battleground Season 1. While discussing how reality shows gain publicity through controversies on the channel The4POV, she criticised Asim’s behind-the-scenes behaviour, alleging that he was rude to the crew and even used abusive language during the shoot.

Rubina described Asim as having only ‘nuisance value’ and said, “He claimed that he was the reason for the TRPs of the shows, that Bigg Boss became a hit because of him, and Khatron Ke Khiladi got hyped due to his presence. He even suggested that Battleground was successful because of him… really? He bites the hand that feeds him. The way he rudely spoke to the creatives was extremely disrespectful, and it genuinely upset me.”

She continued, “I will always respect the team behind the show I am working on. They are like my family. How can anyone question them and insult them repeatedly? Everyone kept trying to make him understand… but in the end, it’s a reality show—and where is he now?”

The actor has been in the spotlight for his remarks about the breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Himanshi Khurana. After firmly denying that he ever pressured her to convert religions, the Bigg Boss 13 contestant claimed that she wanted to revive their relationship and that she has evidence to support this. In response, Himanshi has pushed back, asserting that she also has substantial proof and will not remain quiet if he keeps damaging her reputation.
