Pune: The much-awaited "Krushik 2025" exhibition, organized by the Agricultural Development Trust at Baramati’s Agricultural Science Centre in Shardanagar, is set to begin on Thursday, January 16.

Senior leader and Trust Chairman Sharad Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate, Animal Husbandry Minister Pankaja Munde, and Sports Minister Dattatray Bharane will inaugurate the event.

The exhibition will showcase advanced farming solutions and technology, focusing on irrigated, rain-fed, and protected farming systems. Farmers will have access to expert guidance from agricultural scientists and specialists on various aspects of farming. The event will also feature innovative farmers from across the state, offering an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas.

Over the next four days, farmers will get the chance to interact with experimental farmers and explore modern agricultural tools and practices. Renowned companies dealing in tractors, harvesting and processing machinery, packaging, cold storage, tissue culture, and irrigation technologies will participate in the exhibition. Separate stalls have been set up for farmer-producer companies, and a special section will showcase livestock exhibitions.

The event will highlight the growing role of artificial intelligence in farming, with demonstrations of technologies such as drone systems and mini robo-tractors. These innovations aim to reduce costs while maximizing productivity.

Speaking about the exhibition, Agricultural Development Trust Chairman Rajendra Pawar said, “The exhibition will serve as an excellent platform for farmers to learn about modern agricultural technologies and practices.” The "Krushik 2025" exhibition is expected to draw significant interest from farmers across Maharashtra, particularly from the western region.
