Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad police have arrested four Bangladeshi nationals who had been living in the area for several years using forged documents.

The individuals were found with fake birth certificates, Aadhaar cards, and PAN cards, and investigations revealed that two of them had also obtained passports with these fraudulent documents. The Sangvi police have taken these individuals into custody.

The arrested individuals are identified as Sagor Sushanto Biswas, Debrotto Biswas, Johnny Woben Biswas, and Ronny Anup Sikandar.

According to the police, Sagor Biswas visited the Sangvi police station for verification. The police officer responsible for passport and character verification grew suspicious of Biswas.

Upon verifying the address on the documents he provided, it was found that he did not reside there. Additionally, the birth certificate and transfer certificate submitted for verification were determined to be fake.

After detaining him and conducting further inquiries, police arrested three more Bangladeshi infiltrators from Punawale and Pune Camp. These four individuals had been living in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad for several years without any valid visa.

They had entered India illegally from Bangladesh. A case has been registered against them at Sangvi police station, and they have been arrested.
