Fugitives Wanted in MCOCA Case Arrested While Watching Movie at Hadapsar Multiplex

Both accused had criminal cases registered against them at Dighi Police Station and had been on the run for several days.

Pune: Two individuals who had been absconding in a serious crime case under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) were arrested by the Crime Branch Unit Six while they were watching a movie at a multiplex in Hadapsar.

The arrested accused have been identified as:

Dharmensingh alias Bhagat Singh Surjitsingh Bhada (22), resident of Dighi

Badshahsingh Poladsingh Bhond (23), resident of Shivadarsh Nagar, Dighi

Tip-Off Leads to Arrest

Both accused had criminal cases registered against them at Dighi Police Station and had been on the run for several days. While conducting a routine combing operation in the area, police officers Nitin Mundhe and Kanifnath Karkhele received a tip-off that Bhada and Bhond would be attending a movie at a multiplex in Hadapsar.

Acting swiftly, the police laid a trap at the cinema and successfully arrested both fugitives. The arrested individuals were later handed over to Dighi Police Station for further legal proceedings.

The operation was led by Additional In-Charge Inspector Chhagan Kapse and executed by officers Kanifnath Karkhele, Nitin Mundhe, Ramesh Memane, Balasaheb Sakate, Rushikesh Vyavhare, Rushikesh Takawane, Nitin Dhadge, Kirti Mandale, and Pratiksha Pansare.
