Grand Final of 'Purushottam Karandak' to be Held in Pune from December 27-29, 2024

Grand Final will be hosted at Bharat Natya Mandir. On 27th and 28th December, the performances will run from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Pune: The much-anticipated Grand Final of the Purushottam Karandak competition, organized by Maharashtra Kalopasak, is set to take place in Pune from Friday, 27th December to Sunday, 29th December 2024.

The competition will feature the top four experimental plays from the Pune, Amravati, Ratnagiri, Sambhajinagar, and Kolhapur divisions, with each division’s first, second, third, and best experimental play being showcased. The winner of this prestigious event will be determined from these final performances.

The Grand Final will be hosted at Bharat Natya Mandir, with five sessions scheduled over the three days. On 27th and 28th December, the performances will run from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 5 PM to 9 PM.

On the final day, 29th December, the competition will be held from 9 AM to 1 PM. The award distribution ceremony will take place on the evening of 29th December 2024, at 5 PM. It has been specified that the winner from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar will be the final participant.

The participating teams in the Grand Final represent several divisions across Maharashtra:

Pune Division: MES Garware Commerce College (Bus No. 1532), Vidya Pratishthan’s Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Baramati (Pati), New Arts, Commerce & Science College, Ahmednagar (Dekhava), MES Institute of Management Career Courses (Sakha).

Amravati Division: Shri Shivaji Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Akola (Tamso Ma Jyotirgamay), Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati (Deadline), Sipna Engineering and Technology College, Amravati (But Before Live), Regional Arts Department-1 (San. Ga. Ba. A. Vi.), Amravati (Utthan).

Ratnagiri Division: Athlya, Sapre, Pitre College, Devrukh (Hero Number 1), Siddhayog Vidhi College, Khed (Sampat), Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri (Holyo Nagara), Sant Raoul Maharaja College, Kudla (Offline).

Kolhapur Division: Shahaji Law College, Kolhapur (Section 375), Rajaram Bapu Engineering College, Islampur (Why Not?), D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology (Pindgran), Deshbhakt Ratnappa Kumbhar College of Commerce, Kolhapur (Yatra).
