Pune: In an effort to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion, the Pune Traffic Police have introduced temporary traffic changes at Magarpatta Chowk (Noble Hospital Chowk) under the Hadapsar Traffic Division. These changes are being implemented on an experimental basis, and any previous parking-related orders in the area have been revoked.

Key Changes Implemented at Magarpatta Chowk

  • Closure of U-turn at Magarpatta Chowk: Vehicles are now required to take a U-turn at Vaidwadi Chowk instead.

  • Changes for vehicles from Mega Center: Commuters traveling from Mega Center must take a U-turn under the bridge to proceed towards Pune.

  • Flyover Usage Mandatory: Vehicles traveling from Hadapsar to Magarpatta must use the flyover, as the underpass road is now closed.

  • Traffic Signal Turned Off: The signal at Magarpatta Chowk (Noble Hospital Chowk) has been deactivated, and the road under the flyover has been shut.

  • Vehicles from Magarpatta to Pune should use the flyover for a smoother commute.

Additional Traffic Changes in the Hadapsar Area

  • Magarpatta City Police Chowky commuters: Vehicles coming from Magarpatta City Police Chowki should turn left onto the main road (Magarpatta-Kharadi Road) and take a U-turn near Late Mohan Dharia Garden to continue their journey.

  • Traffic from Raskar Chowk to Seasons Mall/Magarpatta City Police Chowki: Vehicles should turn right at the police chowki junction and take a U-turn at Amanora Mall signal to reach their destination.

  • Vehicles exiting Amanora Mall that intended to turn right must first turn left and then take a U-turn near Pizza Hut to reach their desired location.

Public Consultation Period and Feedback Submission

The Pune Traffic Police have invited public feedback regarding these changes. Citizens can submit written suggestions or objections to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Airport Road, Pune, from February 15, 2025, to March 1, 2025.
