Hinjewadi: Software Engineer Dies After Gym Workout

A 44-year-old software engineer, Sanjeev Kumar, passed away after developing breathing difficulties shortly after a workout session at a gym in Hinjewadi.

Pune: Close on the heels of the death of Kumar Maharashtra Kesari wrestler Vikram Parkhi due to a heart attack while exercising, another tragic incident has been reported in the Pimpri area.

A 44-year-old software engineer, Sanjeev Kumar, passed away after developing breathing difficulties shortly after a workout session at a gym in Hinjewadi.

Incident Details

Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Hinjewadi, attended his gym session on Tuesday as part of his routine fitness activities.

After completing his workout and returning home, he began experiencing severe breathing difficulties. His family rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, doctors declared him dead during treatment.

Kumar was employed as a software engineer at a company in the Hinjewadi IT Park. Known for leading an active lifestyle, his sudden demise has left his family and colleagues in shock.

Police Investigation

The Hinjewadi police have registered the incident as an accidental death and are conducting further investigations. No external injuries or suspicious circumstances have been reported as of now.

Second Death in the Region

This marks the second such death in the region within the same week. Earlier, renowned wrestler and Kumar Maharashtra Kesari titleholder Vikram Parkhi also passed away due to a heart attack while working out in a gym in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area.
