Indapur Car Crash: Third Trainee Pilot Cheshta Bishnoi Succumbs to Injuries

Crash had led to he immediate deaths of two trainees, Tashu Sharma (21) and Aditya Kanse (29). Driver Krishnamangal Singh and Cheshta Bishnoi had sustained critical injuries.

Pune: A fatal car accident that occurred on December 9 near Lamjewadi in Indapur taluka claimed the lives of three trainee pilots from Red Bird Flying Academy, Baramati. The latest victim, Cheshta Bishnoi (21), succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday (December 17) morning at Ruby Hall Clinic, nine days after the incident.

The accident took place in the early hours of December 9 when four trainees from the academy were traveling in a Tata Harrier from Baramati to Bhigwan. Around 3 AM, the car, driven by Krishna Mangalsingh (21), lost control near Lamjewadi and overturned onto a pipeline supplying water to Baramati MIDC.

The crash led to the immediate deaths of two trainees, Dashu Sharma (21) and Aditya Kanse (29). The driver, Krishna Mangalsingh, and another passenger, Cheshta Bishnoi, sustained critical injuries. Bishnoi had been under intensive care at Ruby Hall Clinic, battling severe brain injuries, but succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning at 10 AM.

According to Bhigwan police, four individuals, all trainee pilots, were traveling in a car from Baramati towards Bhigwan when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Lamjewadi.

They had partied in their room and consumed liquor before venturing out for a drive in an SUV after dinner. While speeding towards Bhigwan, the car veered off the road and crashed, leading to a catastrophic accident.
