Coronavirus Maharashtra: Fate of last SSC paper to be decided after April 15

Pune: The decision regarding the conduct of the examination for the last paper of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination will be made only after April 15.

The last paper, Geography, which was supposed to be held on March 23, was cancelled because of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) lockdown.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Chairperson Shakuntala Kale stated that the decision regarding the last examination would be made only after the 21-day lockdown.

Maharashtra has been among the worst affected states in India, with nine people dying and over 220 positive cases.
