NCP's Sachin Ahir joined Shiv Sena

MUMBAI: Nationalist Congress Mumbai chief Sachin Ahir joined Shivsena on Thursday in presence of Shivsena chief Uddhav Thackeray at his residence-Matoshree.

Ahir said it was difficult to leave NCP, as he spent more than 20 years with NCP. 

“I talked with Shivsena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray. Aditya is young leader and have some plans for development of the city. I also have plan to develop my constituency- Worli. Aditya is hope to fulfil my dreams, so I decided to join Shivsena,” said Ahir.

Ahir’s exit from NCP is huge shock to the party and it’s leaders. Ahir is willing to contest from Byculla assembly’s constituency against MIM’s Waris Pathan. Shiv Sena is also considering him for the constituency.
