Manjari: Massive Fire Engulfs Sound Box Factory; Cause Unknown

The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and authorities are conducting an investigation to ascertain the exact reason behind the incident.

Pune: A devastating fire broke out at R A Cabinet, a sound box manufacturing factory on Theur Road, Manjari Khurd, around 4:45 AM. The fire spread rapidly, reducing the entire factory to ashes before firefighters could bring it under control.

As soon as the fire was reported, a total of four fire brigade vehicles—two from PMRDA and two from Pune Municipal Corporation—rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, the fire had already intensified. Firefighters worked alongside five private water tankers to control the flames.

The factory, owned by Vijay Sonawane, suffered total destruction, including: CNC plywood cutting machines, air compressors, plywood and raw materials, sound speaker boxes (both finished and unfinished), iron grills and sound machinery, paint, thinner, and other sound box production materials.
