The Department of Culture and Tourism has introduced a program that provides eligible Indian tourists with free UAE entry visas.

This offer is reportedly valid until October 31, enabling Indian passport holders traveling from India to plan a vacation in the emirate while saving on visa-related expenses.

The initiative is being introduced at a time when India remains a significant contributor of international tourists to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE and the largest of the seven emirates that form the United Arab Emirates.

According to the report, passengers are required to make their bookings through designated travel partners or online travel agencies authorized by Abu Dhabi's tourism department.

A standard 30-day tourist visa for the UAE typically costs about AED 252 (roughly Rs 6,500), so the waiver represents a direct saving for eligible Indian travellers.

For those who qualify for the scheme, Abu Dhabi’s tourism authority will reportedly bear the entire cost of the UAE entry visa for qualifying bookings.
