Pune: New findings in the Swargate rape case have exposed multiple false statements made by the accused, Dattatray Gade. Police investigations have revealed that Gade’s claims of prior acquaintance with the victim and giving her money were baseless. The technical analysis of his mobile data and financial transactions has further contradicted his statements.

Police have been conducting a detailed forensic examination of Gade’s mobile phone. The analysis has revealed that for the past three months, his bank account contained only ₹239, making it impossible for him to have given ₹7,000 to the victim, as he claimed. Furthermore, records show that there was no prior communication between Gade and the victim, proving that they had no prior connection.

Victim’s Harrowing Testimony: "Dada, Please Don’t Kill Me"

The victim has provided a heart-wrenching statement to the police. She revealed that after the assault, she begged Gade to spare her life. "Dada, please don’t kill me," she pleaded.

However, Gade allegedly attempted to strangle her and threatened to kill her. She had purchased a ticket to Phaltan before the incident, which she later submitted to the police as evidence to support her claims.

Forensic Investigation of MSRTC Bus Underway

In a crucial move to gather evidence, the police have sent the MSRTC bus for forensic analysis. Authorities are focused on collecting strong forensic and circumstantial evidence against Gade to strengthen the case.
