Nurturing Brilliance: Cummins India Funds Full 4-Year Engineering Education for 25 Students

The selected students include 14 first-year B.Tech students, 7 second-year B.Tech students, and 4 third-year B.Tech students.

Pune: Cummins India has awarded scholarships to 25 students from G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Pune, under its flagship "Nurturing Brilliance" program.

This initiative provides comprehensive financial support, covering the entire four-year engineering education of the selected students. In addition to the scholarship, recipients have also been provided personal laptops to aid their academic progress.

Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, Campus Director of Raisoni College, Pune, highlighted that these scholarships would significantly support financially disadvantaged students, enabling them to access essential academic resources and excel in their studies.

Scholarship Beneficiaries

The selected students include:

  • 14 first-year B.Tech students

  • 7 second-year B.Tech students

  • 4 third-year B.Tech students

To facilitate awareness and encourage student participation, the Peer Counselors Club of Raisoni College conducted a dedicated session on the Cummins India Scholarship. The session focused on guiding students through the application process and elaborated on the benefits of the scholarship. Counseling psychologist Surbhi Pranav played a pivotal role in mentoring students and helping them navigate the selection process.

Dr. Kharadkar emphasized that the Cummins India Scholarship would not only alleviate the financial burden on students but also inspire them to strive for excellence in their chosen fields. Expressing gratitude to Cummins India, he congratulated all the selected students on their achievement.

Sunil Raisoni, President of Raisoni Education, Shreyas Raisoni, Executive Director of Raisoni Education, and Dr. R.D. Kharadkar also extended their best wishes and congratulations to the scholarship recipients.
