Pimpri: Accused Turns Himself in After Brutal Murder of Business Partner

Pimpri Business partner murder case: The victim, identified as Mahesh Sunderdas Motwani (45), and the accused, Ram Gopichand Manwani (45), were business partners in a now-defunct company.

Pimpri Crime News: A business disagreement spiraled into a fatal confrontation when a man attacked his partner with an axe, killing him on the spot.

The shocking incident occurred on Tuesday (November 26) morning in Pimpri Camp, and the accused later surrendered to the police with the blood-stained weapon.

Dispute Over Business Losses

The victim, identified as Mahesh Sunderdas Motwani (45), and the accused, Ram Gopichand Manwani (45), were business partners in a now-defunct company.

According to Senior Police Inspector Ashok Kadlag, the partnership dissolved after the business suffered significant financial losses. Manwani held Motwani responsible for the losses, leading to repeated altercations between the two.

The Fatal Attack

On Tuesday morning, Motwani was near his residence when Manwani approached him with an axe and launched a violent attack, striking Motwani on the head.

The critically injured Motwani was rushed to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Accused Surrenders

Following the incident, Manwani walked into the Pimpri police station, carrying the blood-stained axe, and confessed to the crime. The police detained him and are in the process of filing a formal case.

The murder left the local community in shock. Witnesses reported seeing Motwani lying in a pool of blood while the accused calmly turned himself in. Authorities are now investigating the case to determine further details about the financial disputes that led to this tragedy.
