Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO to Hold E-Auction for Seized Vehicles on December 26

The vehicles will be sold on an "as-is-where-is" basis, and the Taxation Authority reserves the right to cancel or postpone the auction without explanation.

Pune: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Pimpri-Chinchwad has announced an e-auction of 10 vehicles that were seized for non-payment of motor vehicle tax and other violations under the Motor Vehicle Act.

The auction is scheduled for December 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO premises.

Details of the Auction Process

  • Deadline for Tax Payment: Owners, drivers, and financiers of these seized vehicles have the opportunity to pay the pending motor vehicle tax by the auction date to reclaim their vehicles.

  • Registration for E-Auction: Interested participants must register online at www.eauction.gov.in between December 16 and 19, 2024.

  • Auction Terms and Conditions: Terms and conditions will be made available starting December 9, 2024, on the notice board of the Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO during office hours (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM).

  • Vehicle Inspection: The seized vehicles can be inspected from December 9 to 24, 2024, at the Regional Transport Office in Moshi, Pimpri-Chinchwad.

The list of vehicles to be auctioned will be displayed on:

  • The www.eauction.gov.in website

  • Notice boards at the Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO, Collector’s Office, and Tehsil Offices in Pune City, Haveli, Junnar, Maval, Khed, Mulshi, and Ambegaon
