PMRDA Affordable Housing: Over 4,800 Registrations, Deadline Extended to Dec 15

PMRDA Commissioner urged citizens to take advantage of extended deadline, stating that it offers an opportunity to secure affordable housing in well-planned locations.

Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has reported an overwhelming response to the affordable housing scheme in Peth No. 12 and Peth Nos. 30-32.

Under the scheme, a total of 1,337 flats remain available across categories, including EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and LIG (Low-Income Group). As of Thursday, Nov 28, 4,861 citizens had registered their interest, and 1,717 had paid the booking amount.

The initial application deadline, Nov 30, has been extended to Dec 15 to allow more citizens to participate. Applicants can submit their forms online at PMRDA Housing Portal.

Revised Schedule for Lottery Process

  • Dec 15, 2024: Final date for application submission.

  • Jan 1, 2025: Draft list of accepted applications to be published.

  • Jan 2, 2025: Deadline to file objections to the draft list.

  • Jan 13, 2025: Final list of accepted applications to be published.

  • Jan 21, 2025: Dry run for the lottery.

  • Jan 22, 2025: Final lottery draw; results to be published online.

The flats are located under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, with the following availability:

Peth No. 12:

  • 47 flats in the EWS (1-BHK) category.

  • 614 flats in the LIG (2-BHK) category.

Peth Nos. 30-32:

  • 347 flats in the EWS (1-RK) category.

  • 329 flats in the LIG (1-BHK) category.

PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase urged citizens to take advantage of the extended deadline, stating that the scheme offers an opportunity to secure affordable housing in well-planned locations. The results of the lottery draw will determine successful applicants, and a waiting list will also be published for future opportunities.
