Pune: 22-Year-Old Student Killed in High-Speed Car Crash on Katraj-Manterwadi Bypass Road

The deceased has been identified as Ruchim Mohit Kapoor, a resident of Nyati Esteban Society, Undri. The accident took place near the Shell petrol pump on 22nd February (Saturday).

Pune: A tragic road accident on the Katraj-Manterwadi bypass road led to the death of a 22-year-old college student after he lost control of his speeding vehicle and crashed into a roadside boulder.

The deceased has been identified as Ruchim Mohit Kapoor, a resident of Nyati Esteban Society, Undri. The accident took place near the Shell petrol pump on 22nd February (Saturday).

According to police reports, Ruchim was driving on the Katraj bypass road when he suddenly lost control of the car near the Manterwadi area. The vehicle veered off course and crashed into a large roadside boulder, causing extensive damage to the front of the car.

Upon receiving the accident report, Kalepadal police immediately reached the scene and rushed the injured driver to a hospital. However, he was declared dead before receiving medical treatment.

A complaint regarding the incident has been filed at Kalepadal Police Station by police constable Yuvraj Dudhal, and further investigations are being conducted under the supervision of Assistant Police Inspector Vilas Sutar.
