Pune: Closed House Catches Fire in Shivajinagar, Prompt Response Averts Spread

Pune: A fire broke out near Sancheti Hospital in Shivajinagar, Pune, on Wednesday, creating panic in the area. The incident occurred in a closed house, with flames spreading rapidly before firefighters arrived to contain the situation.

According to initial reports, the fire erupted in a vacant house close to the hospital premises. The Pune Fire Brigade deployed three fire engines to the scene, and their timely intervention helped prevent the fire from spreading further. After a concerted effort, the flames were brought under control.

The exact cause of the fire remains uncertain. Authorities have yet to determine whether it was an accident or a deliberate act. The incident has raised concerns among locals, who are questioning the fire's origin.

Upon receiving information, police and fire officials swiftly reached the site to extinguish the fire and ensure public safety. The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the fire's cause and whether foul play was involved.

No injuries or casualties have been reported in the incident. The authorities are expected to release further details once the investigation progresses.

On December 8, a massive fire had erupted at a photo studio in a five-story building in Bavdhan’s Shindenagar area, sparking panic among residents. The fire, which started at around 5:52 PM, quickly spread due to the presence of flammable materials, including flexes and photo frames stored inside the studio.
