Pune Crime: Armed Robbery at Bullet Showroom in Wakadewadi; ₹7.11 Lakh Looted

Security guard threatened at gunpoint; Khadki police launch investigation

Pune, 21 August 2025: In a shocking incident, two unidentified men carried out an armed robbery at the Brahma Motors Bullet motorcycle showroom in Wakadewadi, Shivajinagar, during the early hours of Tuesday (August 19). The robbers fled with ₹7.11 lakh in cash after threatening the on-duty security guard at gunpoint.

The complaint was lodged by security guard Indrasen Jachak (45), a resident of Bavdhan, who was deployed on night duty. He stated that the men approached him suddenly, pointed a weapon at him, and warned him of dire consequences if he resisted. They then opened the cash counter drawer, took away the money, and threatened to kill him if he raised an alarm.

Following the incident, Khadki police rushed to the spot and initiated a probe. CCTV footage from the showroom has been seized to trace the culprits. A case has been registered against the unidentified robbers, and Police Sub-Inspector Digvijay Chougule is leading the investigation.
