Pune: An elderly woman was robbed at knifepoint near Magarpatta Chowk in the Hadapsar area on January 22. Two unidentified assailants fled the scene after looting gold jewelry worth ₹42,000 and cash from the victim.

According to the Hadapsar police, the complainant, a senior citizen residing in the Bhosale Garden area, was on her way to Command Hospital in Wanawadi.

Around 3 PM, while waiting for an auto-rickshaw near the flyover at Magarpatta Chowk, she was confronted by two men near Mahadev Temple. The assailants threatened her with a knife, forcibly took her valuables, and fled the scene.
