Pune: An 18-year-old girl has filed a police complaint against her boyfriend and his friend, accusing them of sexual assault, blackmail, and exploitation. The incidents reportedly began when the victim was underage and continued over several months.

The victim revealed that she met her boyfriend on Instagram, and their acquaintance soon turned into a romantic relationship. However, under the pretense of love, the boyfriend allegedly coerced her into a physical relationship against her will and secretly recorded explicit photos and videos.

Using these recordings, the boyfriend reportedly blackmailed her and pressured her into maintaining the relationship. In a shocking turn of events, he also allegedly forced her to engage in relations with his friend under similar threats.

Unable to bear the constant harassment, the girl approached the Parvati Police Station and filed a formal complaint. Based on her statements, the police registered a case under Sections 64(1) and 70(1) of the Indian Penal Code, along with Sections 4, 6, 8, and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Police Inspector (Crime) Amol More is leading the investigation, while efforts are ongoing to gather further evidence against the accused.
