Pune: Water Supply Disruption in Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, and Wadgaon Sheri on February 28

Maintenance work on Chandan Nagar water tank’s main supply line will be carried out on February 28, leading to shutdown of water supply in Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, and Wadgaon Sheri.

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Water Supply Department has announced a temporary suspension of water supply in several areas, including Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, and Wadgaon Sheri, on Friday, February 28, due to urgent repair work on the main water pipeline of the Chandan Nagar water tank.

Additionally, on Saturday, March 1, water supply is expected to be delayed and available at lower pressure in the affected areas.

Scope of the Repair Work and Affected Areas

The critical maintenance work on the Chandan Nagar water tank’s main supply line will be carried out on Friday, February 28, leading to a complete shutdown of water supply in:

Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, and Wadgaon Sheri

Localities including Anand Park, Sunita Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Swami Samarth, Namdev Nagar, Mate Nagar, Punya Nagari, Mahavir Nagar, Munawar Society, and Malwadi

Areas dependent on the Lashkar Water Center

Residents in these areas are advised to store adequate water in advance and plan accordingly. PMC authorities have assured that supply will resume gradually on Saturday, March 1, but with reduced pressure and possible delays.
