Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a temporary suspension of water supply in certain areas of the city on Thursday, 23rd January.

Additionally, residents in these areas will experience low-pressure water supply on Friday, 24th January. This disruption is due to essential maintenance work on the main valve and water pipeline at Taljai Tank.

The affected areas include Bharati Vidyapeeth, Ambegaon Pathar, Chandrabhaga, Nilgiri Society, Jijamata Underpass, Dhankawadi, Survey Nos. 3, 4, 7, 8, Taljai Pathar, Meghdoot Society, and Anand Bhavan Society in the Katraj region.

The PMC has appealed to residents to conserve water and make necessary arrangements by storing sufficient water in advance. The corporation has assured that the maintenance work is critical to ensuring better service in the future and has requested citizens' cooperation during this period.

Pune city and suburbs have many complaints including water supply disruption, low pressure water and contaminated water. But citizens wonder where to complain.

As per the court order, the PMC has created an e-mail ID waterpil126@punecorporation.org for complaints of water supply in Pune city and villages under Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA).
