Pune and its neighboring areas have been witnessing a steady rise in temperatures for the past week, with both maximum and minimum temperatures showing an upward trend. As a result, residents are experiencing increased heat, particularly in the afternoons.
On Monday (February 17), Pune recorded a maximum temperature of 36°C, while Koregaon Park emerged as the hottest location with 38°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that temperatures will remain stable for the next two days.
Despite the heat during the day, early mornings have remained relatively cool. On Monday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.9°C, causing noticeable variations in temperature between morning and afternoon.
