Pune: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) celebrated its 19th Foundation Day today with a gathering at Ramkrishna More Auditorium in Pune. Party chief Raj Thackeray addressed the gathering, focusing on strengthening the party organization and taking a firm stance against inactive or negligent party members.

Thackeray Emphasizes Party Discipline

During his speech, Thackeray made it clear that party discipline and efficiency would be closely monitored moving forward. He stated, "From now on, the work of every party member will be scrutinized. We need a strong organization, not political hawkers who switch allegiances at convenience. Any office bearer delaying their work will be removed from their position."

Commitment to Strengthening Party Structure

Thackeray also mentioned his plans to present a detailed political strategy at the upcoming Padwa rally at Shivtirth. He further asserted that despite past setbacks, the party remains united.

"Many wonder how we are still together after multiple defeats. These days, some political hawkers jump from one place to another. We don’t need such individuals; we need to build a permanent and structured political organization," he added.

Strict Monitoring in the Next Two Years

Thackeray announced that a monitoring system is now in place across all levels of the party and that performance reviews will be conducted over the next 15 days. He warned, "In the next two years, we will further strengthen the party mechanism. If any member fails to deliver, they will be removed from their position."
