Rajgurunagar: 9th-Grade Girl Dies of Heart Attack During School Annual Gathering

Sneha was participating in a lecture session organized as part of school's annual gathering. Around 10 a.m., she began feeling uneasy and collapsed.

Pune: A 15-year-old girl studying in 9th grade at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya, Rajgurunagar, died of a heart attack during a school event on December 18. The deceased student, identified as Sneha Eknath Hole, was a resident of Holewadi in Khed Taluka.

According to school authorities, Sneha attended school as usual in the morning. She was participating in a lecture session organized as part of the school's annual gathering.

Around 10 a.m., she began feeling uneasy and collapsed. Teachers and staff acted promptly, rushing her to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors declared that she had succumbed to a heart attack before treatment could be administered.

Sneha was the daughter of Eknath Hole and is survived by her parents and a younger brother. The sudden demise of the young girl has left her family and the community in shock and mourning. The school and the local community in Holewadi have expressed deep sorrow over the incident.

In August 2024, a tenth-grade student from Shri Narayandas Ramdas High School in Indapur had died suddenly from a severe heart attack. Prathamesh Vikas Khavale, aged 16, felt dizzy and collapsed in his classroom shortly after the school’s group prayer.

Despite immediate efforts by teachers to take him to a private hospital in Indapur for treatment, Prathamesh could not be saved. Doctors declared him dead upon arrival. His sudden demise has left the school community and local residents in deep sorrow.

When Prathamesh suddenly felt dizzy in the classroom, all the teachers at the high school rushed to his aid. Despite their attempts to perform CPR and quickly transport him to a private hospital, their efforts were in vain.
