Road Rage in Pune: Woman Assaulted on Baner-Pashan Road

Pune: In a distressing incident on Baner-Pashan Road, a digital content creator, Jerlyn D'Silva, was brutally assaulted after being chased for two kilometers.

The assault, which resulted in significant bleeding from her nose, was documented in a video she shared on social media. The Chatuhshrungi police are currently investigating the incident.

Jerlyn D'Silva, who has over 70,000 followers on Instagram, was riding her bike with two young children when a car driver attempted to overtake her.

When Jerlyn moved aside, the driver stopped, got out of the car, and punched her in the face, causing her nose to bleed. The attacker also pulled her hair in front of the children.

Immediately after the attack, Jerlyn posted a video on social media detailing the harrowing experience. She mentioned that the car driver had been following her for about two kilometers before the assault.

Jerlyn was treated at a private hospital in Baner. A complaint has been lodged at Chatuhshrungi police station, and the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the attacker, including his name, age, and residence, is still unknown.
