Scholarship Examinations: Final Results of Fifth and Eighth Grade Announced

Overall pass rate for both grades combined was 20.76 per cent. This year, total of 31,394 students from both grades are eligible for scholarships.

Pune: The final results of the fifth and eighth-grade scholarship examinations conducted by the State Examination Council were announced on Tuesday (July 2).

The overall pass rate for both grades combined was 20.76 per cent. This year, a total of 31,394 students from both grades are eligible for scholarships. Dr. Nandkumar Bedse, Chairman of the State Examination Council, shared this information via a press release.

The fifth-grade scholarship exam, government school entrance exam, tribal school entrance exam, nomadic caste and tribes school entrance exam, and pre secondary scholarship exam were held on February 18.

The interim results were declared on April 30, and the final results were prepared after resolving score verification applications submitted by May 10. The merit list of students was created based on the approved government standards.

The final results can be viewed on the official website https://www.mscepuppss.in/. Printed mark sheets and certificates will be sent to schools in due course. This year, the pass rate for the fifth-grade exam was 24.91 per cent, while the eighth-grade exam had a pass rate of 15.23 per cent.

Out of the 510,672 students registered for the fifth-grade scholarship exam, 492,373 students appeared for the exam, with 122,636 qualifying. Of these, 16,691 students will receive scholarships.

For the eighth-grade scholarship exam, 381,588 students registered, with 368,543 appearing for the exam. Among them, 56,109 students qualified, and 14,703 will receive scholarships.
