Silvercrest Society Hosts Art Exhibition Showcasing Talents of Residents

The featured artists come from diverse professions, including doctors, architects, engineers, bankers, and homemakers.

Pune: In celebration of Navratri, an art exhibition featuring the creative talents of Silvercrest Society residents has been organized in the community hall, drawing visitors from across the Kothrud area.

The exhibition highlights a variety of artistic works, including lifelike photos, paintings, and sketches, created by twelve artists between the ages of 42 and 84.

The featured artists come from diverse professions, including doctors, architects, engineers, bankers, and homemakers. Their works, characterized by high quality and creative vision, attracted a large number of art lovers to the exhibition.

The display included sustainable artworks made from recycled materials, traditional Madhubani paintings, nature-themed illustrations, and lifelike portraits.

Wildlife, nature, and architectural photography by Sunil Damle, Anil Limaye, Sunil Bapat, and Rohit Khisti captured the attention of visitors. In addition, the exceptional portrait work by 84-year-old Raman Walawalkar and Raghunath Laturkar was highly praised.

The nature paintings of Anuradha Deshpande, Sucheta Gosavi, Deepti Mandlik, Pallavi Savji, Gauri Soman, and 81-year-old Suchitra Ghule were also commended for their beauty and detail.

The exhibition was expertly curated and organized by Raghunath Laturkar, Sunil Damle, and Sameer Joshi, ensuring a successful event for all involved.

Recently, an art exhibition showcasing the creative works of 32 amateur female artists was held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha art gallery in Kothrud from Friday, October 4 to Sunday, October 6. The event was organized by fitness-focused "Walk It Out, Talk It Out" group on Facebook.
