Special Trains from Pune to Kolhapur, Solapur, Harangal Extended Until March 2025

Railway Administration clarified that there will be no changes to the existing schedules, train composition, or stoppages for these services.

Pune: To address the increasing passenger rush and reduce congestion at stations, the Central Railway has decided to extend the operation of four special trains in the Pune Division. This move aims to provide a more comfortable and safer travel experience for commuters.

The Pune-Harangal-Pune daily special train, which has been serving commuters regularly, will continue its operations until March 31, 2025. This extension is expected to benefit daily travelers along this route.

The Solapur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus weekly special train will now run until March 25, 2025, while the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Solapur weekly special train has been extended until March 26, 2025.

Passengers traveling between Pune and Kolhapur will also benefit, as the Pune-Kolhapur-Pune daily special train has been extended until March 31, 2025. Similarly, the Daund-Solapur-Daund DEMU unreserved special train and the Solapur-Daund daily DEMU service will operate until March 31, 2025.

No Changes to Timings or Stoppages

The Railway Administration has clarified that there will be no changes to the existing schedules, train composition, or stoppages for these services. The trains will continue to operate as per their current timetables.

The Central Railway has urged passengers to make the most of these extended services. The extensions aim to meet the increasing demand for travel and ensure smooth and efficient operations in the Pune Division.
